Athletes from 10 states covering all regions of the country helped lend a national flavor to the 1988 Tournament Of Champions – held on August 13th at the Fontana (CA) Performing Arts Center – as Joe Carrero of Sunnyvale California won the Overall title. The National atmosphere was especially noticeable in the last two classes with Joe Carrero capturing the Light-Heavyweight Class and Overall title. |
